  • Traditional Area Rugs – These are mainly derived from the Persian and the Tibetan culture among many others of the ancient world.   • Contemporary Area Rugs – The contemporary rugs are those that are more modern in their trends of designs and colors. There is very little design on these and even that is drawn from singular lines and straight patterns. Contemporary rugs often help to create a look of space and comfort in a room.
