The best-known centers of Mojari are Jaipur, Jodhpur, Barmer, Bikaner and Jaisalmer. The skins of buffalo, bull, camel, cow, sheep and goat are used for the tanning purpose. The sole is made of the buffalo skin while the upper part is crafted in camel skin. The unique characteristic of this type of footwear is that it takes the shape of the foot of the wearer. There is no left right distinction and the mojaris are flat soled.
