This hand made metal statue presents the Vajrasattva nature of the Buddha. He is the Buddha of purification. He manifests the energies of all Buddhas. He is portrayed with one face and two hands and resembles a youth. He is seated on a lotus with his torso gracefully curved in a dancer's pose. His legs are crossed in the vajra position. In his right hand he holds a gold vajra (thunderbolt) to his heart and in his left, at his hip he holds a silent, upturned, bell. He is lavishly dressed in fine garments and is richly adorned with gold and jewels as befits a prince - with crown, hair ornaments, earrings, bracelets, necklaces, anklets, etc. His face is gentle, and radiant. This auspicious Vajrasattva statue of exquisite beauty has been crafted from brass and copper and has rich (24 karat) gold plating.
