The shown statue is highly revered in Buddhism. This image of Amitabha Buddha is a handcrafted classic of copper. A sparkling glow is yielded to the statue by 24-karat gold plating in the front portions of the face, chest and other regions of the body. Amitabha is shown in sitting posture in this image with his principal attribute, a pot held on both hands. His dark blue hair, elongated ears, big lotus aasana and the patterns of the robes are magnificently portrayed by the sculptor.
