About Ganesha
Ganesha is one of the most widely worshipped Hindu Gods. His is the son of Shiva and Parvati. Fond of sweets he is depicted in seated, standing and dancing posture. Generally, considered as a bachelor he is represented as a bestower of two Shaktis- Siddhi and Buddhi. It is considered auspicious to worship him at the start of any action or venture.
