The showcased Shakyamuni Buddha statue is a fantastic work of copper and gold metal craft. This sleek and shiny image of Shakyamuni is is given the sparkling glow by the 24 karat gold polish on the regions of face, chest and right hand. Whole statue is a made of copper. All the attributes of Shakyamuni are perfectly crafted by the artisans. Right hand is in the mudra of Bhumisparsha (Touching Earth). Through this mudra Shakyamuni Buddha calls upon the Earth to witness his claim to be known as “The Enlightened One.” The robes of Buddha are properly folded and the colors are used in highly effective manner.
