Embossed Wooden Ganesha Temple

The embossed wooden temple carries the seated idol of Ganesha. Ganesha idol carved in Kadam wood shows the pot-bellied lord in a joyous blessing mood. The intricate carving highlights the facial expression, the folds of the garment, and the jewelry of the image in detail.

The temple structure executed in traditional style with a shikhar carries embellishments in a raised pattern.

About Ganesha

Ganesha is one of the most widely worshipped Hindu Gods. His is the son of Shiva and Parvati. He wears a snake as an ornament around his belly and is depicted in a seated, standing or dancing posture. Generally, considered as a bachelor he is represented as a bestower of two Shaktis- Siddhi and Buddhi. It is considered auspicious to worship him at the start of any action or venture.
