Wet processing in which the size and other ingredients are applied to the textile fabric to give specific characteristics like softness, stiffness or water proofing etc.Finishing wet process is usually done in finishing plants which are thermal energy intensive involving huge quantities of hot water from 120 to 200°F for the purpose of desizing, scouring, bleaching, mercizing, dyeing, washing and rinsing.
